Reminder: Light Bites and Insights is held on the first Thursday of every month at the Brooklyn drop-in center.
- June 5, 2025 (Thursday) Light Bites and Insights – Inherited trauma: Understanding what’s yours and what isn’t. Exploring the distinction between personal experiences and generational patterns.
- June 12, 2025 (Thursday) Creating family legacy projects – Preserving stories, photos, and memories in meaningful ways for future generations.
- June 19, 2025 (Thursday) The weight of witness: Navigating blurred boundaries around responsibility. When your parent’s stories become part of your identity and the complex feelings about carrying on their legacy.
- June 26, 2025 (Thursday) Cooking workshop: Recreating lost family recipes – Honoring food traditions while creating new memories together.
Coming in July: Summer day camp for adults! Join us for fun projects and a whole lot of arts and crafts – more details to follow.
